The rail of the walkway on the brand new man made Pine Island on Wascana Lake. The island was completed in 2004 and is a must see for all tourists.

this is beautiful - lovely simplicity. So many wonderful wavy, curved rails & buildings in Regina.

What a wonderful structure over the water

Wow, the metal and water are such a lovely pairing of blues! This is gorgeous. The 'waves' in both is beautiful too, as if they echo each other. It's so nice to see a public project done well, and right, and thoughtfully.

I like the mention of a man-made island--we have those here in Ireland too, but they're 'crannogs', made back in Celtic times for defense. No pretty railings there! LOL

Awesome! I really like the sensuous shapes and the texture of the water.

Great composition. I love the straight lines against the curving S and then there is that all time favorite of mine - water. :-)

That railing/deck has to have a good Feng Shui principle behind it. It's just too awesome.

The curved, undulating rail against the blue water is almost hypnotic. Beautiful photo.

Do we get to see more of the island? I'd be interested to see what is enticing about it - besides the compelling photography you inspire us all to take. :)
