The Scarth Street Mall in downtown Regina is not a very busy place in the middle of an unexpected snow storm that hit our city last week.

We always tend to be sensitive to the first snowfall. The streets would be full on a day like this in February, lol.

This is a sight I will never see except in photos! And it looks so hauntingly beautiful!

There is something kind of comforting about a dusting of snow, it seems to soften everything.

Ahh a preview of what we'll have in short order. This photo could easily pass for a view down Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis.

Wow, the snow. In my city it's snowing only once every 20 years.

So pretty. Regina reminds me a bit of Montreal, but more modern.

I really like the colours in this picture. There's freezing blu cast and a lot of scattered color.
