Wow--I lingered over this one quite a while! It captures the beauty of winter amazingly well, and I love the arrangement of trees and golden light and distant building. It's *gorgeous*.

This looks like a perfect winter scene!

The contrast between this one and the first one is astonishing. Even the sun seems colder. But no less striking!

Wonderful! And your summer shot, too.

Lovely! I love this time of day. With the sun setting you can almost feel the cold begin to get a little more bitter.

Very nice! I love the reflection too. Is that the legislative building on the other side of the lake? Neat photo!

This is good. I love frozen lakes (though I might be a bit of a wimp these days to put up with the weather that creates them). I love the composition of this photo. The building in the background is wonderful.

Beautiful, I love the little tree to the left.

The ice on the lake makes me think that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, which would be a walk across the ice ... but be careful.

Wow...that is really beautiful...such crisp color...

It still amazes me that huge bodies of water freeze. Just such a foreign concept for someone who grew up in Africa. Great pic too!
