That's beautiful. Your city is probably a lot better at handling the snow than we are here in London.

A very interesting picture. Whatever it is (a bubble pond perhaps?) it is clearly an oasis of some human activity.

This has some nice colors of blue.
Very nice.

You're fortunate to have such a tranquil place in the middle of your city.

Wow. If it weren't for the trees, it would be hard to distinguish sky from lake!

Beautiful shot and what a great way to end the day! Hi from somewhat rainy NorCal!

Great to see the contrast between the lake in this pic and in the last one you posted.

Another beautiful photo.
Do people ice skate on the lake?
Have a great weekend!

There's one aspect of Prarie winters that is unique to everywhere else in the world. Sun dogs (those little rainbows on either side of the sun when it is REALLY FRICKEN COLD outside). Do you have any pictures of Sun dogs? I think the rest of the world should see those.

Hope by the 29th comment you're still reading them - beautiful!!! I realize that to live there, I would have to live with the temps. too - never modn :) Are you going to tell us about the hole in the snow (ice?) - was it for ice fishing?

Linda Jacobs said...

Yeah, I was wondering about that hole, too. Looks to be too big for ice fishing.

Gorgeous shot! I like the curve of the river and the hints of brightness in the sky.

I love it when cities save beautiful spots rather than allowing buildings to take over everywhere. I invite you to come see my foggy contribution. - Margy

Very nice. Love all the winter shots. Still really hot and dry here in South Australia.
