Here is a photo of a Canada goose on Wascana Lake late last summer. Is it really spring right now because it doesn't feel like it. (Watery Wednesday)

I love the shadows in your photo. Is it at the end of the day. The poor goose looks quite lonely on his own.

I love the clouds; I know this is about the water :) but the clouds team up so well with the water to create an inspiring image.

I love the way the trees are in shadow as well as the duck in this one. Great shot.

A wonderfully atmospheric shot. Such that one really longs for. Those warm summer afternoons with the long light evenings.
I know what you mean about the spring not quite being up to scratch at the moment.

I agree with Margaret; the poor goose looks alone - have they all left for Norway? I discovered they have increased in number in Oslo the last days... :-)

Beautiful shot! Looks so peaceful!

Quite serene, despite the threatening dark clouds.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the weather not feeling like spring!

BUT tomorrow the temperature is going to go UP and it's going to RAIN...not snow. So it must be spring!

Another nice photo of Wascana Lake! It sure is a beautiful one.

I like the way the light seem to dance on the water. Great shot, Guy

I can't decide what is more beautiful in this photo, the water or the sky. I love the purple tones.

As always, a treat to visit here!

I always like to come and scroll down as the area you live in is so beautiful..It will be a while before we really get spring here and not really until the ice is gone from Lake Erie..but at least we are getting closer...Michelle
