Its that time of the week again, so here are four more photos of skies seen by Regina residents throughout the year. (Skywatch Friday)

Football season is only a few months away and in my opinion it can't come soon enough. Here is a photo from last year of a thunderstorm brewing over the 30,000 seat 'Mosaic Stadium', home of the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Winter photo of a sunset over the pedestrian bridge leading to Pine Island in Wascana Park. I think people can tell this is one of my favourite areas in the city with the amount of times I post photos from here.

Here is a photo from a couple weeks ago of a reflection of the Legislative Building on some patches on Wascana Lake that are finally melting. Its been a longer and colder winter than I can ever remember and the warm weather can't come soon enough.

Here is a photo from last October taken of Wascana Lake during a very colorful sunset. My wife and I (as well as our dogs) are very anxious for evenings like this to return in the very near future. Now that I think about it, I bet the ducks are anxious as well.

I wanted to say the last two pics are my favorites but then the others are too just in a different way. The last picture with the lone duck anxiously paddling home before nightfall, of the brilliant sky above her she does not take any notice. That's ducks for you!

The stadium photo, with all the seat colors is cool. If they were just grey seats I don't think it would pop the same way.

I also like the pedestrian bridge photo, too. I want to stand there!

Guy, thanks for leaving a comment in my Skywatch post! You may (or may not!) be surprised to learn that this Michigander has been in Saskatchewan, albeit in Saskatoon (for a master gardener conference in '05). I liked Saskatoon a lot, but one gardener was from Regina and she seemed to think Regina was much nicer. (Is there some rivalry between your cities?!) :)
