Shot from late October from the Spruce Island Overlook after a huge snowfall. Wow its been a long winter. (Watery Wednesday)

I'm not sure why but every fall the Wascana Center Authority moves the docks out to the center of the water before freezing, likely for safety reasons I assume.

It looks like a LOT of snow! Don't worry spring is not far away.

Nice shot. It is really interesting that they would move that out to the center of the lake. I'd guess it's for safety reasons too but I'd sure like to know what they are.

This is an interesting shot in that it contrast a lot of snow with a calm, ice-free body of water. Well done!

I agree, it's been a long winter ;-) Pretty shot though with the contrast of the snow and the lake.

Beautiful. I love the snow on the railing... but I'm sure you're getting a little tired of snow.

Nice shot Guy. I like the way the water is framed by the dock and the trees.

The snowline on the fence looks so naturally artistic.

I guess that makes sense moving the docks out to keep people off them during the winter time. Has it warmed up any up your way?

Very nice framing of this photo, I bet that water is very cold.

Great shot. It makes me feel like I'm walking along the water and glancing through the fence. Wonderful view and colors.

Guy,
Very nice shot. We don't get snow right where I am but we have had tons of rain. It poured cats, dogs and elephants last night. This am on my way into work I could see our litle "seasonal" creeks are now lakes! I'm hoping to get some pics on the way home.

A mobile dock? Who would've thought? Great color temp in this one. Really speaks of how cold it is.
