The usually very busy Scarth Street Mall in downtown Regina is somewhat deserted in this photo I took during a cold winter evening last month.

What an excellent city image. Perfect symmetry and I do like the blue tone of the high rised buildings at the end.

Its hard to believe
Regina only has a quarter million citizens, it honestly looks like a city of a million or more. Great photo!

That is a superb composition. The street leads you into the light and between the two tall buildings.

Where are all the people?

Well spotted. I like the light and the reflections on the buildings.

I like the perspective on this photo and the gorgeous blue sky.

Your weather widget says -14C. I can't visualise how cold this is. even -2C is cold for me. Roll on spring!

Sometimes I like to see streets with no people. Then you really can look at the beautiful buildings.

Great shot. I like the way the glass of the buildings seem to connect. It does look really deserted. Was this early in the morning or just unusually deserted?

Thanks for the comments everyone. The day I took this pic it was very windy, add that to cold and you get even colder, which is likely why there weren't many people outside. Thankfully the weather is going to change real soon.

This looks a lot like Fayetteville Street Mall before they turned it back into a street. And just about as busy too.

Which is why they turned it back into a street.
