Ice hockey is the second most popular sport in Regina. Pictured here is the Brandt Centre Arena, home of the Western Hockey League's Regina Pats!

Very nice, I've always enjoyed watching hockey. Last year I went to 2 Thrashers games here in Atlanta, fun times.

A beautiful ice arena! We have the huge EXCEL energy arena in downtown St. Paul but even here in Eagan we have two nice, smaller, indoor ice rinks.

One of my favourite spots in the city -- and taken from my favourite spot in the arena! Go Pats.

Wonderful night shot, Guy. I have never been to a hockey game, it must be very exciting.

Opening night is just around the corner too! I'm SO stoked! The Canes look strong this year despite a couple of laid eggs in preseason. Beefed up on the blue line over the off season and stacked at center (which is the key to success in any sport -- strength up the middle). If we can keep the "gel" we had during the second half of last season... it could be a really, really good year. PLUS, it's an Olympic year. And in the last two of those, we've taken home two conference titles and a Stanley Cup. So yes, this year shows promise.
