Its that time of the week again. Here are some beautiful skies that we enjoyed this past week here in our great city of Regina. (Skywatch Friday)

The first pic is one I took last evening while out at the dog park onn the western outskirts of the city. Gotta love the unique skies we get this time of the year.
The next pic is a setting that I have taken many times before yet every pic is different because of the skies above. Is it any wonder that the Province of Saskatchewan uses the motto "Land of Living Skies" when it describes itself? Believe it or not, that term is even on our licence plates.

Great shots, Guy! I particularly like your first one because of the clouds and the effect of the batters' cage!

"Land of living skies"! It expresser so well our connected ness to the universe, for all things are living. It sounds like an expression of the original inhabitants who, unlike those oof the mechanical age, were still part of all that lived, not allthat made mechanical noise and greasy dollar bills.

Wonderful photos.

I will now always think of your skies that way.

Where I live there's a somewhat limited view of the sky. But what I have give me lots of beauty and changing conditions. I never tire of watching. I invite you to come see a solar halo I caught a few weeks back. - Margy

Almost like the fence is trying to capture the sunset and hold it there... I can see why it might want to do that!
