Well its that time of the week again. Here are a couple photos of some skies that we enjoyed here in Regina during the past week. (Skywatch Friday)

First of all a big thank you to everyone in helping make this blog a success. I just passed my 75,000th visitor to this site and we've only been online for a year and a half. Thanks so much.

That said, the first photo is a morning silhouette of one of Regina's most recognizable landmarks, the Saskatchewan Legislative Building. Built in the early 1900's, this building is home to the Government of the Province of Saskatchewan.

The second photo this week is of Mcdonald Avenue, which is one of the many roadways that lead into the city. This was taken at around 4:30 in the afternoon just before rush hour. It sure is getting dark early these days....

That first photo is a stunner. Sorry I haven't been by. I'm not getting out much to take photographs these days and have let my photo blog lag, as well as my visits to blogs I enjoy.

Have a great up-coming weekend.

Beautiful silhouette, and nicely framed. I really liked the second shot too, I love that time of day, just when the sun starts coloring the sky.

The picture of the Legislative building is really awesome! I hated when I was working in the city, driving into work in the dark and driving home in the dark!

Beautiful photos, Guy. The orange behind the legislative building is placed perfectly to highlight it.

And you're right about the shorter days; I anxiously await Dec 22, and the first day slightly longer.
