One of my favourite places in the city is Kiwanis Waterfall Park. This photo was taken last year, soon it will be green like this again.(My World)

Notice!

Hope everyone is having a great Easter weekend. My wife and I are going to Vegas for 6 days so updates to the site will not be as often as usual, likely just once per day. Take care all!!

Here is a photo from last week of a swift moving Wascana Creek in west Regina. Thankfully all the snow is now pretty much gone.

Well it's that time of week again, today I have three different photos of skies that Regina residents have enjoyed recently. (Skywatch Friday)

Happy Easter Everyone!
The first photo today is from this past fall of a colorful sunset over Wascana Lake. Evenings like this are priceless.

Here is a skyward reflection photo of the Saskatchewan Government Insurance head office in downtown Regina. This building is one of the tallest in the Province of Saskatchewan.

One thing I really enjoy about older buildings are the advertisements they used to paint on the brick. Preserving these is a must in my opinion.

This is one of many older buildings in downtown Regina that have these painted advertisements, this one is located on 11th Avenue.

The most popular sport in Regina by far is Canadian Football. Here is my home away from home, the 30,000 seat Mosaic Stadium. (My World)

This stadium is the home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Canadian Football League franchise that is about to celebrate their 100th anniversary. This historic franchise is a fabric of our lifestyle, kinda like what the Yankee's are to New York City.

Here is a photo I took in January along the north shore of Wascana Lake. I will take the same photo next month to provide a contrast in seasons.

Well it's that time of week again, today I have three different photos of skies that Regina residents have enjoyed recently. (Skywatch Friday)

The first photo today is from last fall of a Regina sunset taken from atop the Wascana Hill. This hill provides an amazing vantage point in all directions of our great city. Here silhouettes can be seen of the dome of the Legislative Building as well as the 2,300 seat Conexus Arts Centre.

Here is a photo taken last fall from the south shore of Wascana Lake of a beautiful cloudy sky above the park. Like I've mentioned many times already, there is nothing like taking a walk around the lake, something that all Regina visitors must put on their to do list.

This shot of from a few weeks ago of the pedestrian bridge leading towards Pine Island in Wascana Park during a winter sunset. You can see the water beneath the bridge is melting, and in my opinion, the warm weather can't come soon enough.
