I am so glad I had my camera in my car at this time. This was taken at the intersection of Albert Street and Gordon Road, I just love skies like this one.

Another fun thing to do in the summer is to head a half hour drive north of the city to Last Mountain Lake for some great fishing and boating.

The multi-use Devonian pathway serves up some of the most beautiful scenery in the entire city. Its about 10km long and runs through west Regina.

A fantastic place to relax and have a picnic amongst the many office towers in downtown Regina is the beautifiul Victoria Park.

Likely the most scenic path in the entire city is along the north shore of Wascana Lake. All Regina tourists should take the time and enjoy the view.

This photo was taken a few evenings ago on the Pine Island pedestrian bridge during a beautiful Regina sunset. This area has proven to be one of the most popular areas in Wascana Park, which comes as no surprise by its beauty.

Canadian Geese are frequent fliers here in Regina. Hundreds call Wascana Park home, as a matter of fact there are so many in the early summertime that they collect hundreds and relocate them to other areas in the province. This was taken the same evening as the photo above.

This photo was taken earlier this week before a massive thunderstorm hit the city. The clouds above the lake took on a very unique shade of pink just before the rain hit, it was spectacular.

Solitude. Throughout Wascana Park there are many great locations to relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you. Pictured here is a great vantage point along the eastern shore of the lake near the Conexus Arts Centre.

This is one of my favourite images that I've taken since the snow melted. Sailing is a very popular activity on the lake this time of year, thankfully the peaceful boats make for some pretty good photo opportunities even while tied up on the docks.
Thunder and lightning has always fascnated me and I have to admit its one of the things I love most about summertime. This photo was taken from the Trafalgar Overlook earlier this week a few minutes before a thunderstorm hit the city. Thankfully I made it back to the car before the rain hit.
