Well its that time of the week again, here are a couple photos of some beautiful skies enjoyed by Regina residents recently. (Skywatch Friday)

The first pic is one of my favourite settings in all of Wascana Park. This pic was taken a couple evenings ago during the last few minutes of sunlight. Notice the lake is starting to ice over, even despite the warmer the normal temperatures we've been having recently.
The second photo is taken in Les Sherman Park which is located very near our home in Cathedral Village. This huge park offers many great scenic paths for us to walk our dogs.

Its that time of the week again. Here are some beautiful skies that we enjoyed this past week here in our great city of Regina. (Skywatch Friday)

The first pic is one I took last evening while out at the dog park onn the western outskirts of the city. Gotta love the unique skies we get this time of the year.
The next pic is a setting that I have taken many times before yet every pic is different because of the skies above. Is it any wonder that the Province of Saskatchewan uses the motto "Land of Living Skies" when it describes itself? Believe it or not, that term is even on our licence plates.

This photo was taken last month during a beautiful fall day in Wascana Park. Lots of places to rest and take in the scenery. (Think Green Thursday)

Today is 'Remembrance Day' in Canada, which is in my opinion one of the most important days in the calendar year.

This is the day that we pay tribute to those who gave their lives for their country. Pictured here is one of the many memorials located in the city in honour of these brave soldiers.
