Here is an image of one area of Wascana Park that is usually busy with park goers, but not so much this time of the year. :) (Shadow Shot Sunday)

Another Winter postcard, Guy! Indeed, you have prescience for my favourite parkscapes .

The contrast of light and dark is really cool. Great shot!

Picnic anyone?

Agreed, a picnic lunch under these leafless trees might not be appropriate in the prairie winter, even with the lovely shadows underfoot. In the warm summer, the foliage will leave more shade that we need in the warmer weather...

That was awesome. I like it.

By the way, Happy Hearts Day and Kung Hei Fat Choi (Happy Chinese New Year). :)

The shadowy patterns on the snow and the soft light make this a beautiful photo!

Sometimes it's nice for a park to be quiet. Unfortunately, in your case it means the park is probably cold as well as empty. I like the tree trunk shadows.

I can see why it's not such a busy place right now, but it's a lovely photo!

Don't mind if I skip the walk in the park...I'll wait till the greens start poking through the ground...brrr, looks as cold there as it is in Iowa!!!
