Well its that time of the week again. Here are a couple photos of some skies that were enjoyed by Regina residents this past week. (Skywatch Friday)

This first photo was one I took a few days ago on my way home from work. This is the very popular 13th Avenue in the Cathedral Village.

Fantastic captures -- both of them, Guy! Of course by now everyone knows how I love those bare trees against the sky! Hope you've had a good week and wishing you a great weekend!

You certainly are taking advantage of mother nature during this winter. Nice colors, wonder composition. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing post Regina! In the first it looks like someone painted the sky with a brush :-)

Fantastic photos! The first is just awesome and I love Evelyn's description of the rake being pulled over the sky. The second is lovely just because I love color.

Thank you for your wonderful comments. I had forgotten about those photos. I took them in the first weeks with my DSLR, and then got busy with moving! Those colors were SOC! Seeing the morning sunrise over the may small lakes in our community are something that I do miss her in Pennsylvania, but there is so much more to compensate.

Beautiful to see the lake covered in snow. I like the cathedral spires reaching up to the sky, too.

The cloud formation in the first is different--it reminds me of a plowed field--and the second one is just plain lovely!

All 4 season's in Regina are picturesque, especially the way you capture them. Love the dramatic snow covered lake under a colourful sunset sky.

Couldn't work out why the lake didn't have footprints on until I read it was a lake - doh! Very pretty colours xo

Wow the lake is frozen. I remember seeing your summer shots of the lake. It does look pretty but cold. The first sky is interesting with its repetative pattern.
