Well its that time of the week again. Here is a photo that I took in Regina this past week. (Skywatch Friday)
This photo is taken at one of the most picturesque locations in the city. This is the Pine Island pedestrian bridge in Wascana Park. The sky in this pic was one of my favourites so far this winter. Is it any wonder the slogan for our Province is the 'Land of Living Skies'.

Regina is currently digging out from one of the biggest snowstorms in years. Here is a photo of some quieter than usual shops in Cathedral Village.

The first blizzard of '10 is in the books. To get us out of the winter blues here is a pic of a Wascana fountain from this past autumn. (My World)
Note: Regina got blasted with a massive blizzard and I hope to get out and get some shots of the 6ft snow drifts that are blanketing our city. Stay tuned :)

Here is a photo of some of the thousands of hand planted trees in Regina. Our city is like an urban forest right in the middle of the prairies.

I don't recommend going for a bike ride in the winter, but I guess some people have other ideas. This photo was shot in Wascana Park. (Scenic Sunday)

Well its that time of the week again. Here are some sky shots that I took from in and around our great city of Regina. (Skywatch Friday)
The first photo is a twilight shot from earlier last year taken from a pedestrian bridge that connects Pine Island to the main land in Wascana Park. Definitely one of the most scenic areas in the entire city.

The second photo is of Pasqua Lake which is located about 60km northeast of the city limits. This is beautiful area is what we refer to as Cottage Country. Here is a shot from last week where people are cleaning snow off the frozen lake in order to make a skating rink. Lots of fun if your dressed for the cold weather. To see another pic of the skating rink on the lake, check my post below from January 3rd.
