We had snow yesterday! Rain, snow, sleet...My Muskoka!Love your clouds.
happy monday guy.nice capture of the very moody sky.have a wonderful evening.
Hi Guy! great shot of that grumpy sky! Marvelous monochromatic look to it! Thanks for sharing a piece of your world! Have a great weekend!
An ominous looking sky.
Lovely clouds, they will come down soon, I guess :)Thank you for your visit, you're welcome to Vienna!
We have had great weather for the past few days, but a week ago we had an enormous thunderstorm with big hailstones. It was frightening.
Looks like some vicious clouds, yikes. Cool photo.
Guy - The sky looks like steel wool over the goal posts! Not your usual shot of Regina. I always assume it never rains there - always just stays beautiful!
Awesome photo, I love the clouds.I remember getting Edmonton Eskimos Warren Moon's autograph at an NFL Rams football game in 1980 and besides my Canadian friend and me no one knew who he was. That changed a few years later.
Is Canadian football any different than American football or the world's football, which the Ams call soccer?Happy June.
Guy: That looked like a scary day to watch a football game.
Canadian football is similar to American football with just a few different rules. Its said its a much faster game on a bit larger of a field. Here is the website of the league.www.cfl.ca
Great pic, Guy!I love storm clouds...
Great picture. Looks like it could get stormy soon. When I was a kid I remember watching Canadian Football on tv. It seemed like a more wide open game. I forget the details.
Canadian Football as in CFL? I was a big fan of the Baltimore team even if we couldn't call them the Colts.
That's a beautiful shot. I love those clouds although maybe not during the game.
Threathening clouds I don't know much about football but is it simular to rugby?
What an amazing sky. So still though so portentous.
very cool pic Guy, it is hard to capture greys. well done!
Great football World. Here, we play soccer.
With football season in the rear view mirror, we enjoyed another wonderful spring day here.
Great clouds over the goal posts. I guess the players would put off their practice until the storm clouds passed.
Football is great and so is this dramatic sky...
I have only see one Canadian football game and it was lots of fun! Judi
Not a good day for football, but a great dramatic sky though! Hope the sun comes out soon.
those clouds looks nasty...My world is here
Love those clouds! Full of atmosphere - and rain! So, is Canadian football different to other football? (Excuse my ignorance... :-))
That looks like the cloud is going to burst. But the photo is so dramatic.
ominous clouds lying low!
Ominous but so atmospheric.
Is Canadian football different to American football? Lovely photo, but I miss the lake already.
The macho sport of football does not inspire me in the least, but I do like your shot.
Wonderfully moody picture, Guy. Your love of football is like the majority of South African's love of rugby. Does your sport spectator also enjoy barbequeing along with watching the game or just afterwards?
The weather looks really "nice". Great picture
Thanks so much for the comments everyone. Yes football is my favourite sport, the Canadian version is similar to what you see in the States with a few rules differences. In Canada we have a much larger field (ie 110 yards long with 20 yard endzones, 3 downs instead of 4, and one extra player on the field). Both are great games but I am of course impartial to our version.
Looks like rain......We are basking in glorious sunshine for a change here on the IOM....Thanks for sharing your world with us.
the clouds are pretty moody, hope they do not hold up the game!
Having a Canadian father,I grew up with Canadian football, but now I'm a Bucs fan.
Is Canadian football like American football or is it like rugby??That is a very cool shot of the thunderclouds. We've neen enjoying the same sights over the last few days..
